BOOT CAMP – December 28, 2008 Beta Loft 357 W 200 S Suite 201, SLC, 8-6pm
One full day of hands of instruction, shooting time with models, and guided step by step edits held in downtown Salt Lake at the Beta Loft with Marcel Walker of www.marcelwalker.us and of www.myphotographica.com. This workshop will limited in size to insure participants get the individual time they deserve. This workshop is geared for those who want to take their photography skills to the next level. Participants must be able to operate their digital SLR camera in manual mode and bring a laptop with Adobe Photoshop CS3 or CS4 (click here for free 30 day trial of cs4). We’ll start they day hard core basics, exposure, metering, composition, and creating photos that catch the eye. We will then spend some time doing shooting with models. After a catered lunch, we will walk though and give feedback on your work and then do step by step edits. We will discuss color management and how to make your black and white images sing. A minimum of five participants is required to hold workshop.
